Jason Dixon

Jason Dixon serves as Chief of Staff for Bayside’s Blue Oaks and Adventure campuses. Born and raised in Georgia (don’t hold that against him), he spent most of his childhood on a ball field or basketball court. He chased a dream of playing professional baseball — and while reality eventually caught up with him, the journey led to something even better: meeting his incredible wife, Shaylen, at the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Jason served for six years in campus ministry with the Wesley Foundation, which shaped much of his heart for ministry and discipleship. After that, he spent 11.5 amazing years as a pastor at Southside Church in Peachtree City, Georgia — six of those as Lead Pastor — walking alongside people and helping build a church that loved those far from God. Jason and Shaylen have two awesome kids, Micah and Selah, and they’re loving this new adventure on the West Coast. When he’s not at church, you’ll probably find him on the golf course, skiing a mountain, enjoying the outdoors, or chasing down a really good cup of coffee.
